Prater Raines have been attending Liberal Democrats Conference for longer than Prater Raines has existed!

Tim Prater's first conference was Torquay in 1994 (he was there promoting Lib Dem News, then the Party's weekly newspaper), and he has attended pretty much every conference since (including the Nonferences in York March 2020 and Brighton September 2022 when the conferences were cancelled!).

We first started telling people about our website service for Liberal Democrats in 2002 (working as a partnership), and made the decision to form Prater Raines Ltd at York Spring Conference in March 2007.

These days we continue to attend all Liberal Democrats Federal Conferences (and a smattering of State and Regional ones) promoting the Fleet website service which we supply to the Liberal Democrats and is used by 330+ Lib Dem organisations (including the central Federal Party website libdems.org.uk), and Lighthouse, the Party management system of the Liberal Democrats designed, developed and maintained by Prater Raines.
