By Car

Sandgate High Street is on the A259 on the Kent coast between Folkestone and Hythe, about an hour’s drive from the M25 at Dartford or Sevenoaks.

The nearest motorway junction is number 12 on the M20 which runs from London to Dover. Take the exit for Cheriton and turn right at the traffic lights onto Risborough Lane, which then becomes Military Road. At the end of the road turn right onto Sandgate High Street.

There’s parking in front of the office which is limited to two hours before 6pm, a variety of time limited free parking throughout Sandgate, and two nearby car parks - Castle Road Car Park and Wilberforce Road Car Park.

By Public Transport

There are regular high speed trains to Folkestone’s two railway stations (Folkestone West and Folkestone Central) from St Pancras International via Stratford International, Ebbsfeet International, and Ashford International. The journey from London takes less than an hour.

There are trains direct from Charing Cross, London Bridge, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, Ramsgate and Dover; from Maidstone East, Canterbury West, Hastings and Brighton via Ashford; from Chatham and Canterbury East via Dover; and from Gatwick Airport via St Pancras or London Bridge. On arrival the office is a short taxi ride or 15 minute walk from Folkestone West station.

There are direct Stagecoach bus services to Sandgate from Dover (104), Lydd (102, 103) and Ashford (10a). All these services pass through both Folkestone and Hythe town centres. The 104 bus runs between Folkestone Central station and Sandgate. Approaching from Folkestone, the office is directly opposite the second bus stop in Sandgate.
