After many years running our online payment processing for development invoices etc through a full Merchant account provider, Prater Raines have now moved to Stripe for accepting online payments.
Their service is well known and regarded (we're very much not alone in using them!). It proved a simple job to replace one system with the other. Stripe commissions are competitive and payments quick, allowing us to continue to keep down our costs to clients.
We have also moved to using Stripe in applications for systems we deliver, for example the payment process for the HG Wells Short Story Competition entries, where we moved from PayPal to Stripe last year.
