Tim has led development teams for a range of e-commerce sites over more than 10 years in the web development industry. Since 2000, Tim has worked with and managed companies specialising in providing dedicated support to small and medium size businesses. He has also provided campaigning for not-for-profit organisations.
Tim has a BSc in Management and Administration from Aston University, and previously worked for the Liberal Democrats as a Membership Manager, where he set up their phone fundraising operation in the late 1990s.
Tim is a former Kent County Councillor for Folkestone West division and is currently a Parish Councillor for Sandgate Village and District Councillor for Sandgate and West Folkestone.
Matt is an experienced web application developer and technical manager. His previous jobs include leading development teams producing enterprise web sites for clients including Sainsbury’s, Dolland and Aitchison, and Abbey National.
Matt is our lead developer on the Liberal Democrats’ Lighthouse and Fleet projects, and oversees all our development work.
He has worked in the web development industry since graduating from Warwick University in 2000. He is a Zend Certified PHP Engineer and Member of the British Computing Society.
As Secretary of the PHP London web developer user group from 2007 until June 2010, he organised rooms, activities, and speakers for meetings. During this time the number of active members increased four-fold. He managed many aspects of the UK’s largest PHP conference at Kensington Olympia in 2009 and the Business Design Centre, Islington in 2010, raising over £40,000 from sponsors including Microsoft, Facebook, PayPal, Sun Microsystems, and Adobe.
Gary has been building websites since 1998, and joined the team at Prater Raines in 2012. Prior to joining the team, Gary taught Numeracy, Literacy, and ICT at an FE College in Kent.
Gary has a BSc in Psychology from the University of Essex, as well as a Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector and a Numeracy Subject Specialist Qualification from Canterbury Christ Church University. He has completed Zend PHP Training and recently completed (results pending) a BSc in Computing and IT with the Open University. He holds a Certificate of Achievement in “Understanding the General Data Protection Regulation” from FutureLearn / the University of Groningen. Gary has also completed Cisco’s Networking Essentials course, was until recently a member of the AISB, and is a member of the British Computer Society and the Kent & Medway Cyber Cluster.
Gary is a former Folkestone Town Councillor for Folkestone Central and is currently a Parish Councillor for Sandgate Village and District Councillor for Sandgate and West Folkestone. He is currently a Cabinet Member at Folkestone and Hythe District Council.
Stewart joined Prater Raines in April 2017 and works on our Adnum system for FIM Capital. Stewart joined Prater Raines from the Liberal Democrats, where he has been Head of Technical Delivery since 2014. During this time, Stewart has supported of the Party’s key online membership, campaigning, election and communications tools including Salesforce, Nationbuilder and the customisation of various software.
Prior to his time with the Liberal Democrats, Stewart has held varied Technical and Systems Development roles. This ranges from the Technical Director of Development House Traderi ltd, the E-commerce Manager for London’s largest group of garden centres and at large companies such as Borders, Everetts and Waterstones.
Dalton joined Prater Raines in 2022 and is part of our Fleet Customer Support, System Administration and Developer teams. Dalton works primarily on our TYPO3 based systems, a CMS framework for federated organisations on which we are developing a suite of sites for the Liberal Democrats,
Rosa started working with Prater Raines in 2020, bringing with her a wealth of expertise of SEO and content development. Rosa specialises in support and development of our WordPress portfolio, ensuring sites rank well for Google and other search engines, and optimising pages, layout and content to be not just search engine friendly, but visitor friendly too.
