Prater Raines are delighted to be working with the Liberal Democrats on the development of a new Local and Regional Party Portal. This is due to launch in January 2020.
The Portal will be a user friendly web interface to allow Local and Regional Party Officers to:
The Portal will replace the existing Salesforce interface used by a restricted number of Local Party Officers. It will also be open to a wider range of people in each Local Party with a number of access levels of users. Additionally , over time it will extend the online functionality to be available to Local Parties to support functions including candidate selection tools.
The Liberal Democrats will continue to use Salesforce as its member and supporter database. The Portal will act as an interface to, not a replacement of, Salesforce.
The development timetable is tight but we intend to deliver access to the new portal from the start of January 2020. Discussion and feedback with user groups and testing of modules will start at Federal Conference in Bournemouth. This will mainly take place during the October – December 2019 period of development.
Prater Raines has been delighted this year to strengthen and extend their longstanding relationship with the Liberal Democrats. They continue to support their long-standing Lib Dem website and email communications platform Foci2. We have also delivered a variety of new developments, including a revamped online shop for the Lib Dem Image, a new Party Directory and an European Election Expense reporting tool.
