Prater Raines are delighted that we have been selected to develop “Fleet”, a complete new website platform for the Liberal Democrats.
Prater Raines have been working with the Liberal Democrats since 2002. In that time, we’ve provided up to 300 local party websites through our custom built Foci service. So building on this expertise, we’re excited to be working alongside the Liberal Democrats on Fleet, their next generation website service.
About Liberal Democrats’ Fleet
We’ve selected the Typo3 platform for Fleet. It’s enterprise-ready, fast, secure, scalable, and customisable. The service will include domain name and DNS management and an email account, and we’ll be providing full customer support. We’ll be hosting Fleet on our own UK servers, hosted by the award winning Custodian DC at their centres in Maidstone and Dartford. And most importantly, it’ll include a specially developed suite of shared tools to enhance and maximise the Party’s online campaigning.
The Liberal Democrats’ Fleet service will support up to 500 Liberal Democrat sites. We are due to launch the national website libdems.org.uk on the platform in late Q2 2022. And from there, we’ll then start onboarding other sites: local, regional, state and campaign organisation. About Prater Raines
Prater Raines have a long history working with the Liberal Democrats. Most recently, we’ve developed the Party’s well-regarded membership management software, Lighthouse. We launched Lighthouse in early 2020 and it is still being actively developed. Lighthouse is a user friendly front-end to the Party’s Salesforce membership database and a “one stop shop” for Party membership, financial and compliance management.

In 2002, Tim Prater and Matt Raines started working together on a small project for the Liberal Democrats, starting our 20 year association with the Party. As the company developed, we now work for a range of clients including commercial and campaigning.
